The Madison County Sheriff’s Department is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Office Clerk/Office Manager.
Responsible for but not necessarily limited to, the performance of and/or delegation of, the following:
Must have a workable knowledge of computers and data entry.
Must be able to complete and retain all necessary training and certifications.
Must have the ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions; ability to follow detailed procedures; ability to coordinate services; ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Must have experience in accounting and payroll.
Must have the ability to maintain a good working relationship with employees and to deal firmly and courteously with the public.
Must be able to properly supervise employees responsible to him/her.
Must not have been convicted of a felony or convicted of a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude and must not have demonstrated a disregard of the law to such an extent that usefulness as a Sheriff’s Office employee would be impaired.
Must have High School diploma or GED.
